Have long, curved, narrow bills, slender bodies and long, pointed wings. Plumages are predominantly green. Feed on insects caught in flight. Nest in burrows in steep earth banks/ground.

It was not easy to time the bird's arrival shot as these little guys flew in fast and in silent mode! However, as they loved to come back to the same perch again and again, it made the photographer's life easier by pre-focusing on the perch and wait in patience.
